"Are you fucking insane?" Miles shouts, running towards us.
Jaykob goes completely limp in my arms. I slowly put him down laying him on the carpet. I get up to see this little girl with her friend's throat firmly gripped in her fist. From day one, from the moment Jaykob introduced me to his little sister, I knew they had an insanely close bond. This is the reason why Warheads were hunted during the cleansing. They feared us forming ranks and here it is. Alpha and Beta.
When she finally got what she wanted, it was like life smacked into her and the only thing that is ever going to matter to her is Jaykob. Even if Miles and Micca claim her and she claims them, Jayk will always be her main priority.

A little past ten p.m. my heart started racing for no reason and it hasn't slowed. I'm sitting outside alone with only my thoughts to accompany me. Fog sets over the wet grass in the late hours of the night. The lights aren't as bright as they had been when Jayk first brought me here. I feel the morning dew damping my fur and I know that I have to head back soon. I figure I can find my way back on my own. The reason for it is because I know what I'm going home to. "This is a map of our territory," Jayk turns to face the dining room table. There's a huge map of the city stretched out from end to end. Miles is in the shower when I get back up to my room. Ashton made meatloaf and I was starving. He and I are officially friends.
