Chapter 251 No Authority

Skye’s POV

After saying he was beyond convinced I was there to take whatever the hell of place he was blabbering about, Douglas Cane started to look like he was out of breath. I could not understand why as I saw him struggle, I felt the same. I felt like I could feel exactly the same as what he looked like before my eyes.

‘Why can’t I breathe?’

I couldn’t even make a sound. But most of all, I couldn’t move. I tried to reach my chest and pound it to remind my lungs to open up for a fill of air. But no matter how I tried to move my muscles, my joints, even the tiniest part of my body, wouldn’t even flinch!

And maybe due to the fact that I was not moving, Marco and Gab did not notice my struggle until I dropped like a dead log to the ground. Thankfully, Marco’s reflexes did not fail to catch me on time before my body reached the cemented floor.
