“I want to do this,” I told Marco sincerely. “I guess it’s time I face this fear. And to make it more encouraging, I know it’s because you need it, too. I haven’t been bold to wallow in the pleasure of sexual intimacy with another human being because I have this silly trauma of seeing blood.”
