Lost in her thoughts, Amelia didn't notice the person before her. All she heard was a soft thud, like a car door closing.

"Ms. Jenson! Do you need some help?"

Amelia snapped back to reality when she heard someone call out to her. She lifted her head to look at the person speaking to her. Seeing him, Amelia was surprised. Wasn't he just leaving?

Glancing to his side, she noticed the person sitting in the car—Liam.

Before she returned to Terracrest, Amelia knew she would see him again. After all, Sableton was a little small. If she was going to live there, she was bound to run into him.

But despite all her preparation, she hadn't expected to meet him so soon. It was only her first day back.

"Ms. Jenson?" Gio called out to her again.

Amelia smiled at him. "Thank you, but I'm fine."

Gio still seemed worried. "But you looked troubled earlier, walking with your head down. I called out to you multiple times, but you didn't reply. You almost bumped into Mr. Prescott, too."
