Chapter 86 We Will Meet Soon

Back in her room, Amelia could still feel Liam’s hot, burning gaze.

She sensed that Liam must have heard everything she said.

Putting her ear to the door, Amelia tried to catch any sounds coming from downstairs. Unfortunately, she couldn't hear anything.

It took only a few minutes before she heard movement. Someone was walking toward the bedroom. She hastily sat on the couch.

When Liam entered, he saw her smiling very politely.

"You're back!"

Frowning, he glanced at her and snorted petulantly.

She was instantly anxious.

While she was worried about what he’d do to her, he gave her nothing but a glance before going into the bathroom.

She let out a sigh of relief, but she was still worried. After a moment, she grabbed her bag and went out.

When Liam came out of the bathroom, he noticed that Amelia was gone from the bedroom. When he realized that she wasn't downstairs either, he frowned.

"Mr. Prescott, the Madam just went out."

He sneered again. She had escaped quickly enough.
