The Lost Daughter

Ella's POV

Sudden movements shook me out of my lightheadedness and the first thing I realised as my senses returned was that I was not on stable ground —Neither was I on the hard ground.

I raised my head, trying to figure out why the scenery around me was moving but my senses were shocked as I felt something else —soft fur that caressed my skin.

I looked down and I saw the reason for this.

I was lying comfortably on the back of a big grey wolf that was moving.

At first, I wanted to scream in panic as I thought they were the rogues I was trying to get away from. I thought they had finally caught up with me after they shot that arrow into my arm.

But the dull throb on my shoulder made me turn my eyes to it. They had dressed my wounds and it wasn't bleeding any more. This calmed the panic that was already threatening to consume me and I relied on my wolf for an explanation.

My eyes roamed around the area and I noticed that the big grey wolf wasn't the only one moving.

They were a group
