Chapter 14 Violet's pov 

Alpha Grayson walked into the kitchen to see what was going on with me and I looked at him with an appreciation for what he'd done to the rogues responsible for my mother's murder. He paused, raising a black brow eyeing me oddly.

"I explained that you hunted down the rogues who murdered her mother," Mabel announced and Grayson chewed on his lip and shrugged.

"It was what I was training for. Come back Violet, the dining table is dull without your presence," he mumbled softly and looked away from my probing eyes.

I laughed lightly and walked past him back into the dining room and smiled at the guests. I now knew that each of these men had honored my mother and it eased my nervousness. I sat back down and grinned slightly at seeing the Alpha helping Mabel bring out the food dishes.

Everyone dug into the meal and praised Mabel. I smiled at her and she gave me a thumbs up. After the table was cleared Harkin said that the rogues had formed a small pack of sorts and had been invading Grayso
