Chapter Thirty-One

Alex's POV

I walked into my organization with a smile and everyone scurried to their seats. James walked towards me with a grin on his face. "So are you ready to lose your company?" He asked.

I looked at him before looking outside. "I don't think you should talking to me early in the morning." I answered

He chuckled. "You're still arrogant."

"I can't stop being arrogant, I'll fight to the end."

"Death is the end," he reminded with a smirk. "Be ready to pay the price just like Lisa because you'll be the next person walking out of this organization." 

I frowned. "Lisa is dead, don't mention her name." I warned.

He laughed and we climbed the stairs together, I didn't want to talk to him. "I wanted to get married to Lisa before Oliver stopped my plans." He said as we reached the corridor.

"You'll never get married to Lisa." I replied and walked into my office. "The management meeting will commence soon, be ready for your doom." He said from outside.
