"Are you well, my friend?" asked Victor's companion.

With a subtle inclination of his head, the man conveyed his agreement. He had been rendered unconscious for several weeks as a result of the heinous actions inflicted upon him and his family by the vampires.

His body was riddled with numerous broken bones and injuries. Victor's jaw dropped in disbelief as the memory of what had happened flooded his mind. He vowed to seek retribution. He couldn't simply allow it to occur in such a manner and release it from his mind.
