Like old times

Olivia and everyone reached the mall, it was a slightly sunny afternoon. Nothing made her more relaxed than shopping. She hadn't done this in a long time, especially with her mom and friend.

“I'll be around, away from lady things,” Lalo said, taking out his phone.

“Don't go far…and come back as soon as I call you,” Olivia heard her mom say in a warning tone, and she knew Lalo would get into trouble if he did anything silly.

“Yeah, mom,” Lalo said and walked away from the parking area. Olivia saw the many men in the shadows her brother asked to escort them for protection and sighed. Being a mafia was hard. Constantly, they had to have men watching from the shadows. But she appreciated it because the danger was always lurking around.

“Welcome, I'm Maya, I'll be assisting you,” a lady wearing a black and white uniform walked up to them and introduced herself. Olivia smiled and so did her mom and Sydney. They decided to do some clothes shopping before they settled for lunch.
