CHAPTER 114

After like forever, I went back into the house because I didn't have any idea why Leo hadn't come out ever since, despite that I had clearly seen his mother leaving the house.

I sighed softly. This was the first time Leo was acting up, and so I rolled my eyes. Couldn't he have at least, come to ask me to come in?

I had left the house completely because, as wolves, our sense of hearing was top-notch, and I couldn't stay in the same house and at the same time give mother and son the privacy they both needed.

I entered the house and began tracing my steps into Leo's room. With each step I took, I wondered what Leo talked about with his mother, and how Leo must have defended me.

Of course, I had seen Leo's mother leaving with a stoic face when I was still outside but I knew that Leo must have my back no matter what.

"Leo," I called softly. He should have seen me but he had his back facing the door.

His arms were crossed in front of him and he slowly turned to face me.
