"Why weren't you here the minute I called?" Alpha Leo asked, enraged.

He had wanted to ask Ethan about the woman who almost poisoned his food but then, he had called Ethan three times in a minute but the latter was just arriving.

"My apologies, Alpha. I was uhm...uhm."

"You were what!" Leo yelled but when he realized that he had raised his voice, he lowered it and said,

"How long do I have to tell you to make you understand that you have to be here when I call you? You weren't even this way before, what the heck changed?" Leo shrugged, glaring at Ethan.

"I...I was with Biliie and I had to go through a whole process to tell her goodbye. You would never understand what I'm talking about 'cause you've never fallen in love." Ethan said with so much emphasis on the word love.
