Joahkim was surprised even in his drunkard condition. Her words warmed his heart. She said she still wanted him even with his flaws.

Vera saw how he was looking at her like she was some treasure and she felt lost in his eyes. His gaze lit a fire of passion in the deepest of her body. Coupled with the drinks they took,Vera threw all caution to the wind and kissed him.
