KAHLAN AND ASHLEY

I rolled over to my side, putting my face into the extra soft pillow on my bed, trying to hide my sensitive eyes from the sun, which shined through my bedroom window. I groaned, as I was prepared to close my eyes and return back to my deep sleep, but then I remembered I still had school today. Curse Jason Fleming for having a party on a school night, but I guess he took the chance while he could. Not everyone was emancipated and didn't live with their parents. I licked my lips, feeling the cut on my bottom lip. I was a bit sore. I stretched, happy that I went out last night. Sure, I didn't expect a fight but in the end, I still had a good night.
