Marco’s Fiat 500 really wasn’t made for people my height. I was thankful when we stopped at the gas station, it gave me a chance to unfold myself and stretch out my legs.

I caught Harley watching me trying to get out, she couldn’t help but laugh. “It’s like a clown car at the circus.”

So far, it’s been a pleasant enough drive. At some point Harley dozed off, allowing me a chance to freely admire her a without getting caught.

Everything about her draws me in. There’s an ache inside me that longs for her to be mine, though I don’t have a lot of time. I spoke to my brother Simon earlier this morning, one of our clients isn’t happy with some of the changes my temporary replacement is suggesting to the exterior of our design and is insisting I come back to personally oversee the project.
