CHAPTER SIXTEEN

Do I open it or do I not? I thought, staring at the letter Killian left for me at the café. I don't even know if he left it on purpose or it slipped out of his pocket accidentally and just happened to fall on the table I sat in in the café.

I want to believe the latter happened and ignore this. Why would he write to me anyway? Not like he knew I was going to be there.

I cleared my throat. I'm done with my assignments. At least, I've written them all down, all that's left is to type them in my laptop and print them for the lecturers tomorrow and I need to do that early in the morning.

I need to prove that I'm a student worthy enough for a second chance to take their courses seriously. Or my parents will kill me. They will literally kill me.

I stared at the letter. That's more reason why I shouldn't open it and hand it over to him tomorrow after I've completed everything I need to do. Killian is a distraction. One I can't afford and one I should not even try to afford.
