The next morning, I woke up and did my normal routine. I took Zoe to school, and promised to bring her to the pack house after school. Lester called me and apologized for not coming to pick me up. He said that something came up and he wasn't able to come. He tried, but the situation was tight. I told him not to feel bad, because I went home safely.
