They couldn't tell Lilith where Colt was or what had happened to him because they couldn't tell her. They don't want Lilith to become engaged in the situation. They're also certain that Colt doesn't want it.
"What do you mean?" Lilith inquired, her face flushed.
Stephen smirked as he said, "Vaan courted Bianki."
As soon as Lilith heard what Stephen stated, she became interested. It merely sparked her attention; she had never discussed someone's personal life or relationship before. And because Bianki is Lilith's friend, she was curious to know more.

Carla was busy putting some medicines in her cabinets while Tio just grinned at the two. Minerva remarked, disregarding Lilith's welcome, "I'm here to get my prescription, Carla." Bianki said enthusiastically, "Lilith, how are you?" and hugged Lilith afterwards.
