Chapter 31

Amelia’s Pov

“Amelia!” he gasped and for a minute, I thought that I had only heard him wrongly.

“Did he just call me by my name?” I asked myself as my heart raced.

Everything looked quite normal and usual, except for the fact that his eyes were closed.

“Did you just call me by my name?” I asked, glaring at him intently and causing him to jolt out of his thoughts.

Apparently, he was having some weird imaginations, but thoughts of why he mentioned my name in the midst of it caused my heart to beat frantically.

“Was he thinking about me?” I asked myself, while he quickly wore a scowl and folded his hands to his chest.

I swallowed hard the moment he took off his shirt and flung it across to the window. It was at that point i realized the kind of danger I had just placed myself in.

I had been so carried away that I didn’t think of what walking into his room would entail.
