Cristine was wide-eyed. She didn't expect the news that appeared this morning to make her eyes stop reading what was written there one by one. Meanwhile, the assistant who had been giving her the report didn't move at all. She was afraid that Cristine would suddenly get angry and irritated because of the news she had just brought. But she couldn't keep quiet, let alone let Cristine find out from someone else. Or worse, Cristine would have no idea what had happened.

"How can news like this exist?" she asked in a furious tone. "Did you find out who was spreading this nonsense?"

Naya, the assistant, could only shake her head. Ever since the news about her future son-in-law spread and the banquet, which was said to be considered closed, circulated on social media, she had tried her best to find out. But the limited sources and the unidentified news writer really made it difficult for Naya.
