It was already almost six in the morning, and although I was not expected until eight thirty in the morning at Riley’s pack house, I wanted to have a word with him before the other Alphas started arriving.

My head tilted to my side. My arm was numb because Alexa was sleeping on it, but I didn’t mind. She looked like an angel. She looked so peaceful and contented.

And I wish I could wake up to this every day for the rest of my life. But I knew it was still impossible at this point. But I wasn’t giving up, especially not now.
