Hope you stop blaming yourself!

Alina opens her eyes to the bright sunlight shining piercingly through the glass windows as she crosses her hands over her face, protecting her eyes from the light.

By the side was Ashley standing before the mirror brushing on her hair, seemingly lost in thought.

"Where too?" came Alina's sleepy voice as she rubs on her eyes, yarning.

"Going to check on a hospital…it's better I get something doing that sitting idle, at least" Ashley explains taking a seat by the bedside.

Alina stares at her for what seems like a long time as if trying to figure her out.

Ashley spent her entire night reflecting on her life, and her future. To her, there is no future without her family which she's lost but with self-blame, she concluded getting work as a nurse, at least, to be able to do what she couldn't do years ago and to amend her mistakes.
