CHAPTER 42: TRUST ISSUES

Matilda's POV

After my parents left with my great grandmother, Gertrude, I've been sort of lonely. I routinely went to the market every third day of the week. It was mainly to receive some sort of contact with the outside world. Without Olly and Marlo here to keep me company it has just been me and Quinn after Jonah begged to depart to Valaris too. Quinn easily made friends so I did not see much of her.

Making friends was always difficult for me until Tavi and me became friends. I was usually shy and reserved with a bubbly personality a the same time. I think other wolves were just unsure of what they would be getting with me. I usually attract the wrong crowd.
