I rushed out of the elevator into my car, I didn't wait for my driver to drive me to the palace.

Immediately I drove in to the palace, I rushed out of my car, I run into the palace, both my mom and Dad were sitted in the throne room.

I prostrate according to the Yoruba tradition and i turn to mom.

" Mom, where is Sophie? I asked.

My parents both burst into laughter.

My mom stood up and pick her purse, she brought outa box, it's a ring box, she stretches it to me.

" Take this, when you do the right thing with Adeola then she will gain her freedom" My mom said.

I look at my dad and he just shrug.

" Son the choice is left for you to make or maybe you want the woman you love to die of hunger" Dad said.

I open the ring box, I close the box, I shak my head to tell them no, I drop the ring on the table.

" No, I will find her here in the palace and you know what I will never return to this palace, I will go far away from the palace" I said.

I walk away and go straight to the dark room, I loo
