"Why would you do that?" I shot him a disbelief look. "That photo they snapped as I hopped out of the car earlier makes it look like I'm some kind of accomplice in your breakup drama."

My blood was boiling, and I couldn't hide my anger. That photo angle was way too cozy for comfort, and it was messing with his already complicated situation.

I let my frustration bubble up. Seriously, what was he thinking? The media and all those folks who had no clue who I was would probably think I had something to do with his epic breakup with his ex. I mean, come on!

"You can always go back. Pack your things and go home. End of the story." He said, watching me with a bored look on his face.

His dismissive tone fueled my frustration even more. Did he really think he could just brush off the whole thing with a casual "end of the story"?
