Overwhelmed
NOELLE'S POV,
When I wake up the next day the first thing, I hear is bird sounds. Sunlight streams through my window, and I walk to the window to soak it all in. Feeling the sun on my face gives a bit of light to my mood. It has been a while since I saw the sun and heard birds. The Sea Realm was beautiful, but I don't think I could live in an air bubble under water all my life. I look at the clock and see that it is already 11 o'clock. ''I better get dressed,'' I think to myself. I walk to the clothing closet to look at what is inside it. I expect to find dresses as I had in the Sea Realm but all I see are pants, sweaters, and shirts. I decide to go for black leather pants and a dark green long sleeve shirt. At the door, some black boots are waiting for me. I feel comfortable and it is very easy to move in these clothes. When I look in the mirror, I decide that these clothes suit me better than all the fancy dresses. I just want to be Noelle and nothing more.Related chapters

NOELLE'S POV,I try to figure out what I should do but every time I close my eyes, I just go back to what happened in the Under Realm. I see Hella's face when I burned her, and I see Roan just standing there while they sacrifice me.Still can't believe that he betrayed me like that. GABRIEL'S POV,Gabriel looks at Noelle while they fly back to his friends. He can smell the scent of her hair which is like camomile and lavender. He takes a deep sigh because just smelling her already gives him butterflies in his stomach.When they have arrived, he walks to his friends who seem to have a heated discussion. NOELLE'S POV,I wake up the next morning early from bells ringing loudly. It takes me a moment to realize what is going on, but it is probably Gabriel getting ready for his speech. I quickly get dressed and grab a sandwich from the kitchen on my way outside.I see everybody walk towards the little city area in the middle of the mountains. In the middle, there is a big terrace surrounded by cafes. Gabriel is ringing a big bell that is standing in the center of the terrace. The people seem uneasy and nervous, so I am guessing this doesn't happen that often. NOELLE'S POV,Nolan and I share a quick lunch and then it is already time to meet with Zeus. He is waiting for me in the gardens. I find him sitting next to a big fountain surrounded by rose bushes. He looks at me seriously, ''Hello Noelle, I thought it would be good if we have a little chat first today. We need to figure out what magic you already master and what you still need to learn.''I go sit next to him and nod in agreement.Zeus takes a breath, ''So according to the words you spoke on the night Hades returned you would be able to master all your ancestor's magic. GABRIEL'S POV,Gabriel turns Dagahra around and tells her through their mind connection to go home, ''It's getting dark so let's go home Dagahra.''Dagahra turns around with a swift motion and asks, ''Do you want me to go fast sometimes master? NOELLE'S POV,The next day I wake up feeling like I have been crushed by a giant rock. All my muscles hurt, and I wish I could just lay in bed and die. But it is 6 O'clock so a whole day of training is waiting for me again. I take a deep sigh and drag myself out of bed to get ready.When I get to the training grounds for the morning run it is clear to me that I am not the only one that is sore. Nolan has to motivate us the whole time to keep everyone running. When it is time for combat training everyone is already so tired that we look like a bunch of imbeciles trying to fight.After the combat training, I drag myself to the main pool to do transforming magic with the other magicians from the Sea Realm. Then I go to the dragon pits to practice with Thorn and then try not to fall asleep during dinner. By the time dinner is over I am so exhausted that I fall asleep immediately when I reach my bed. NOELLE'S POV,Today the magic training is held at the big pool of Liberum. We all practice some shape-shifting magic. The people of the Sea Realm have helped me master shapeshifting to every sea creature they know. The weirdest must have been to shapeshift into an octopus. It was super strange to have 8 arms all of the sudden. In return, I taught them how to make a vortex and a tsunami wave. They are not strong enough to create a tsunami wave on their own but when they work together and combine their magic it works.Zeus and I are sitting on a rock watching them making big waves together.
