I couldn't sleep my first night at the new house.

I keep tossing around in this huge bed, but it just feels cold and empty, even though the fireplace was electronically on. I have to admit, I can't sleep partly because of what the butler told me earlier at dinner.

I glanced at the castle-shaped clock hanging on the wall of the room in front of the bed. It's nearly midnight, but Hade is yet to come home. I wonder where he went.

I wanted to talk to him about today. How it was not my intention to leave him hanging at the altar. Or crashing his pod. I wanted to apologize.

So I decided to stay up and wait for him. I went down to the kitchen to get some cold coffee, and then I settled myself in the lounge room, where Winston said we will receive guests in the future.
