Chapter Eighteen

Seleen felt fragile inside Sane’s careful embrace. It was like he was holding a glass in his arms, and that any moment the glass would break. That was why he held her gently as he squeezed herself against his skin. At that moment, he couldn’t really think properly. It was like things happened so fast that he wasn’t able to grab hold of the very reality.

She seemed unreal in his arms, like a dandelion that the wind could easily blow away. She always sent him into deep thinking. He couldn’t understand her thoroughly. As weird as it sounded, she seemed like a clear water, but that kind of clear water that one wouldn’t figure out what it was hiding under its depths still.
