Chapter 29

It was pouring outside and the weather was extra cold and gloomy today, and I knew it dampened Quentin's plans a bit, because he told me he'd planned something fun for us to do today, but he still was adamant that I get ready for the day. As always, I take an entire lifetime to get ready and even when I was done, I had to sit and wait in the bedroom until he came to fetch me, because that was one of his strict instructions- to not leave the room until he came to get me.

"Quentin!" I called out loudly, sitting on the bed and admiring my outfit which was an oversized black shirt that reached just above my knees and a pair of sneakers. My hair was in an untidy high bun and I didn’t have any make up on.
