Christopher walked into the kitchen while rubbing his palms from time and on. Selene saw the hesitation in his eyes and stopped chopping the vegetables. She wiped her hands and stepped closer to Christopher.

"Chris, you seem restless. Is everything fine on your side?" Selene rubbed Christopher's arm to comfort him.

"Mm, yeah! Everything's fine. Ah, Sele, something happened on Satan's side. Roy informed that Brianna had a miscarriage." Christopher had a guilty smile on his face.

"How? Brother should have told me earlier. Brianna needs me by her side. We must go there." Selene held her head in her palms and started to cause a ruckus.

"Roy didn't tell me the reason. As for going there- Satan won't let us. I tried to talk sense into him, but he refused to let us meet Brianna. He said she needs rest." Christopher gripped Selene's shoulder in an attempt to stop her from moving.
