Cassie's POV

I sobbed loudly in my room, cuddling myself under the thick sheets.

A knock came on my door but I did not give a response, it might be James and I so much do not want to talk to him at this moment.

I so much hate him right now! For him to have lied to me, he definitely does not consider my interest in any way! He freaking lied to me that he was human and most probably he was intending to keep the secret to himself forever.

The door opened anyways but I did not look up to take a look at who just came in.

"If it's you James, just let me be. I really do not want to ever talk to you." I said with my cracking voice but instead of James voice to give a response, it was a soft voice that replied me, Samantha.

"Sa... Samantha." I called, getting out of the sheets with tears streaming down my cheeks.

"Cassie." she called and rushed towards me.
