"You should not have let her go." Jay scolded me.

"She said she wanted to leave, I could not hold her back," I replied.

"Look at you, you can't make our mate sleep here?"

"She clearly said she wanted to go back, I asked her if she wanted to stay but she said no and I do not want to seem clingy."

"It's okay to be clingy in this situation Kayden. She is our mate, it's okay to be clingy."

"C'mon, she would not like that. I am an Alpha, I should not be too clingy. Tomorrow is a new day, I would have enough time with her."

"Sure you would. Don't tell me you are going to work tomorrow."

"I am not going anywhere. I am going to do what my Mantha wants me to do and we are going to spend quality time together." I replied.

"Your Mantha? Someone in being possessive, isn't this the one who rejected Mantha in the first place?"

"I have accepted her now, can we just forget that I ever did that?" I asked.
