Noah already has had enough of his life, I assume, so I left with no other choice but to smile at him. Noah did not get the chance to finish his sentence when Norman pulled him closer as he covered the kid's mouth. He even smiled at me defensively.

That's a good thing for me though because I hate promises. Promises are made to be broken as the saying goes to say. Even if I am truly his mother, I cannot promise that I will never leave him again.
