**Nikolay's POV**

Once the girls are gone, Vee turns to me, staring gravely. We are right in the view of the CCTV but the floor is empty except for us.

You don't have to be my savior, she scoffs.

''I don't need you." I smirk.

Really? Looked like you did. Where's your friend?

She dropped out. Had an epiphany during her stay at home.

She air-quotes sarcastically. I burst into a short chuckle at her comment. Vee's friend is somewhat wild from the few times I have seen them together. I have an inkling that the other girl's parents don't care much about her.

So you're alone now? I ask, keeping my hands in my pockets in fear that if they get out, they will cross forbidden boundaries.
