I couldn’t tell if the moon goddess was on my side or against me or if it was my body fighting against or for me.

I had woken up to slight pain passing through my body in waves for the second day in a row. Of course, by now, I knew what it meant, but I couldn’t believe it was happening because it hadn’t happened since the first time it did and nearly killed me. I was on heat.
