“I think you should be more focused on what we have to do!” Soph cried, but I was more focused on how to find Kane.

“That’s why I have you.” I wiggled my brows at her and she rolled her eyes with an annoyed puff.

“I’m not the one who was falsely accused.” As her words sunk in, I realized she was right.

“I fear you’re not taking this as seriously as you should,” she paused, “what are you going to do when you find him? What are you going to tell him?” She asked.

I blinked back at her, my mind blank. Just a few seconds ago, I had a list of things I wanted to say to him, starting with an apology, but when I thought about it, I remembered I was annoyed at him for a different reason entirely.
