Years back before Kate became Mark's beta and came to stay with him in the black wood pack we used to have only one festival and that was the full moon festival. The Halloween party was not a part of our yearly celebration but Kate talked about it and convinced me to hold the celebration she reasoned that since the hunting was done by those that have wolves and have shifted and the after party was usually held later at night and the kids could not attend that it would be nice to hold an inclusive event and everyone could attend.
I liked her idea and discussed it with my beta and they too bought in on the idea. Kate had also not gotten her wolf and I felt that was the least I could do to make her feel more at home with us
