Chapter 85 - My Brother

Trinity POV

“What? Why didn’t you tell me my brother has woken up? I need to go see how he is doing.” I bolt up from my seat and dash around the conference table towards the door.

A senior officer grunts, “Trent is fine. We need to review and approve this plan as soon as possible. If we get attacked again, I’m not sure we will come out on top the next time. We need to be prepared and ready.”

My steps falter and slow down. Do I go to Trent, or stay and work out the plan?

My heart twists as I reach for the doorknob.

Lance, following right behind me, taps my shoulder. “Babe, we need to think about the greater good first. There won’t be any pack for Trent to lead if we fail the next time.”

My heart twists again. I want to agree, but this is Trent. I’ve already done enough to him with our battle for the title.
