I couldn’t help feeling like getting back into Lukas’ office was urgent. Somehow, I just knew that that office had all the answers to my questions. I may not have been ready for whatever was waiting for me on the other side of that door, but I figured it was better than not knowing who I was or what connection I had to Lukas besides Elena. I had always believed that everything that happened, whether good or bad, always had an effect on my future and that every bad thing could always be turned around to work for the good.
