"Georgia," Clark breathed and I turned my head away. "Where were you the entire night? It's five in the morning now, I was so worried about you. I even sent the security to search for you, but you were nowhere."

Honestly, I didn't know where to go. After running away, I was lingering around coffee shops and bakery, immersing myself in food to ease the aching feeling tugging at my heart. I considered going back home, but I had to book tickets and all. I considered going back to Zach's apartment too, but my pride was huge enough to not go crying back to my brother slash cheater.

So all this while, I was hidden behind the bushes in the yard of the mansion where no one bothered to look, until the rains soaked me to the bone and I was left shivering in the cold.

I didn't say anything and walked past him. Suddenly, he grabbed my wrist and apologised softly, "I-I'm sorry, please don't do this. Please don't just disappear and leave me like that."
