"Vince, I don't want you to regret it. If Kyron is the cure, I hope you will recover with Kyron's help." Vincent turned to Zach, who was looking at him.

"But what if it's dangerous? I don't want to lose Kyron," Vincent replied in an increasingly sad and low voice.

"You mean you're afraid you'll bite him and turn him into a vampire?" Zach guessed, sounding like he was teasing. Vincent took a deep breath, then turned to him.

"Don't you ever worry that that could happen to Kyron, Father?"

"Every day, I worry about the same thing. When you can't control your thirst, you end up harming Kyron. Now, you can still deal with it by buying blood." Vincent raised both eyebrows at the same time.
