Chapter 13. The Investigation

Along with witness testimony, Michael Emerson and Jake Turner started gathering evidence regarding Vincent Cox. Aside from that, Vincent is becoming harder to find across the state of New York. They called in police from Denver to stop Vincent from leaving the city.

"Let's see the surveillance camera footage!" Jake inquired with his partner. With a nod, Mike trailed him to the security control center. Both the manager and the building security officer were on hand to help.

“Show me!” said Mike, ordering the security guard to play the footage. It also recorded the time when the recording took place for investigation purposes.

The footage shows Vincent exiting the stairs to Brandon Meadow's apartment. Mike frowned when he saw the time.

"Stop! Try playing the camera on the entrance.” Mike ordered him again. The recording is replaced with the camera position at the front of the building and repeated at the same time as before.
