Chapter 89. The Horus Object

Vincent went to Anderson to report, as promised. After a while, Anderson raised his gaze to Vincent, who was standing before his table.

"I want to report what happened on 70th Street, sir." Anderson nodded slowly without taking his eyes off him.

"The riots started when infected victims preyed on people around them." Vincent was about to tell his report, but Anderson's hand rose, making him stop talking.

"Tell me how many people are infected. Are the new vampires causing quite the commotion?" Anderson instantly interrupted. Vincent's brows frowned slightly. It seems so clear that Anderson was involved in the spread of the virus.

"Why do you ask, sir?" asked Vincent with a frown.

"I requested you to be my spy, Dave."

"Yes, you did. But I need a reason. Is Horus the mastermind behind all this?" Vincent is increasingly daring to ask questions about things he shouldn't. But this time, he had to be brave and make sure.

"I will tell you everything, but you have to do something for me." Ander
