7- We even slept together

My eyes went wide with surprise as I looked at the person beside me right now. Mia was also in shock but then her face contorted into a frown. Ryder and Jason stopped midway with their fight and now looked like a statue. The person seems to notice our expressions and snapped her fingers.

"So, what'cha doing?" Daniella asked as she looked at the three of us. All of us stopped from gawking at her and went back to what we were doing. Mia played with her salad, Ryder and Jason didn't say a word and just stared at their trays. I was suddenly aware of Daniellas' gaze expecting for an answer.

"N-Nothing" I choked out and pretended to eat my food with interest.

Nothing, huh?

My brain countered.

Whatever. I was mind-blocked. I don't know what to say!

I scanned my eyes around the cafeteria as suddenly everything went to silence. All of them were gawking at us or should I say, to Daniella. Some mouths were hanging open. Some stopped midway in their make out session. And some even stopped midway chewing their food. Fudge. I looked away from their eyes and shifted in my seat. Daniella must have noticed my discomfort and looked around. She frowned and glared at everyone.

"Mind your own business, people!" She shouted and the look on their faces was hilarious. It was between shocked to terrified. Everyone continued what they were doing but I knew their attention was still centered to us.

"So, babe, how's your day?" Daniella suddenly asked. I looked at her and was shocked as she was looking back at me. I choked on my food and nearly threw it at Ryder and Jason's shocked faces. I quickly grabbed my water bottle and gulped a lot of its content.

I turned to look at her again and she was stiffling a laugh, amusement evident in her emerald eyes. My eyes widened and I pointed to myself. She chuckled and just nodded. I was the one she was calling 'babe'?

Who else would it be, stupid?

"Um, fine?" I half-questioned not looking in her eyes. I know that my face is crimson red right now that you'll mistake me for a tomato with a body.

"I thought you were not close" Ryder half-whispered. I glared at him and continued to eat my food. Daniella suddenly draped her shoulders towards my mine. I flinched and gulped.

"Didn't you tell them? We even slept together last night" she stated and I choked on my food, again. I quickly grabbed the water bottle and drank its contents to relive my throat.

"Um, that was mine" Jason suddenly declared and I just didn't mind him. Thank God. He hadn't drank from it.

Right now, the more important thing is that everyone's wide eyes was on me, all of their mouth hanging widely open almost touching the ground. I even think someone fainted. Then the bell rang and i sighed feeling relieved. One by one, everyone went back to their senses and went away but it took a little while. Geez. Is it really that impossible?

Daniella removed her arms from mine and she stood up.

"Well, looks like hell's gonna start again. I'll be going. Bye, babe" she said and placed a kiss on my cheek. My eyes widened and my cheeks reddened.

Double shock. I think I might faint.

She then walked away leaving me gasping. I touched my cheek where she had placed a kiss.The three of them looked at me with eyebrows raised. I noticed Mia's face was set into a frown.

"You got a lot to explain" Ryder declared. I gulped.

"Greetings, I am Detective Ryder and this is my partner Detective Jason" Ryder stated adjusting his 'detective hat' while pointing at Jason who is drumming his pen in his notebook---which had a Peppa Pig drawing on the cover by the way.

"So we are going to ask you a couple of questions and we expect you tell us the truth" Jason announced. I rolled my eyes.

"Guys, is this necessary? This is illegal" I said looking at my chained body. And yes, you heared me right (A/N:Or shall i say 'read' it right. Get it? Whatever. Forget it. Don't mind me.) , they chained me in my chair. I tried to wiggle out but it was too tight. We're at my place and Jason and Ryder was playing 'detectives'. They even turned the lights out and placed a tiny light bulb above me and gave it a push so that it was swinging to 'add effects'----Ryder's words not mine. They even had this silly detective costumes on for Pete's sake!

"Silence! Anything you say or do can be used against you!" Jason declared narrowing his eyes at me. Mia just looked at me with pity in her eyes as she sits in my bed.

"You guys seriously need help" I grumbled. They just glared at me and started to circle around me.

"So, is it true that you and Daniella Sparks slept together?" Ryder asked while putting his hands at his back as he continued walking, circling me.

"No, I mean yes..but it's not the 'slept together' that you perverts are thinking. It just means plain sleeping. You see, I woke up at 1:00 o'clock in the morning because I heard strange sounds. I peered down the balcony and saw Daniella Sparks. She was drunk. And the next thing i knew is that we were in the same bed sleeping together. That's all, can you let go of me now?" I explained. Ryder nodded at Jason who nodded back knowingly. Jason then started scribbling down his notebook. I rolled my eyes for the hundreth time. This is stupid.

"How can we be sure that you're telling the truth?" Ryder accused, narrowing his eyes at me.

"Because I am not lying!" I exasperated.

"Well, do you have any witnesses to prove that?" Ryder asked again as he stopped and leaned in front of me.

"Huh? No" i answered. This is seriously stupid.

"Then you have no proof" Ryder announced and nodded at Jason who scribbled something in his Peppa pig notebook.

"How can I have witnesses? Who? My neighbor's dog? I highly even doubt someone is still awake at that hour" I reasoned my voice rising. Ryder scratched his chin and looked up the ceiling thoughtfully.

"Well, okay. We believe you" Ryder announced after several minutes. Jason groaned and I sighed a relief.

"Already? I was getting the hang of it!" Jason whined.

"Can you let go of me now?" I asked as I motioned to my chained body.

"Kids! I baked some cookies! Come and join me eat!"

Mom's voice interrupted and i almost jumped in excitement if it were'nt for the chains. I gave Ryder a puppy eye look. He just smirked at me evilly. I gulped. I don't like it when he's smirking that way. Something not good is about to happen.

"You know, for not letting us know earlier about that, you still deserve a punishment" Ryder said as his smirked grew wider at my horrid expression. I know where this is going.

"You can't do that!" I whined as I trashed on the chair. My cookiesssss! Noooooooo!

"Oh yes, I can" he said while nodding at Jason. Jason grinned and got a long piece of cloth from his pocket. He then covered my mouth with it and tied a tight knot at the back of my head preventing me from screaming. I tried shouting for help but only muffled sounds were heard. This can't be. My cookiesssss!

"We'll be right there, Mrs.Smith!" Ryder shouted back at mom. Mia was about to approach me but Ryder stopped her.

"Don't even think about of helping him Mia. He deserves this" Ryder warned. Mia cowered back and shot me a sorry look.

"Let's go and eat cookies!" Jason shouted and run as fast as lightning out the door. Ryder chuckled and followed him as Mia tailed right behind him. I tried to wiggle out but to no avail, the chain wouldn't budge. So i just listened to them.

"Hi Mrs. Smith! Good evening" Jason.

"Good evening too Jason and also to you Ryder and Mia! By the way, where's Ken?" Mom.

"Sadly, he said he has some important things to do, Mrs. Smith" Obviously, Ryder.

"That's weird. He never said no to my cookies. Well, anyway, let's eat! I used my special ingredient for this" Mom.

"Mmmm, this cookie is delicious!" Mia.

Nooooo! My cookiessss! *sniffs*
