If anything, hearing this scumbag's idea was the biggest shocker she has received since she opened her eyes.

Staring at Mark, she can tell that he's not joking in the very least, but the thought of being given to some criminal was just too much for her to stomach.

"Don't you think you're going a bit too far?" She asks, but Mark laughs off her complaints as he heads to his room, Leia tailing from behind.

"I'm surprised to see you hesitate, it didn't used to be this way in the past Leia," Mark tells her.

Leia rolls her eyes tired from explaining herself.

With a deep sigh she repeats herself, just a little louder so he can't forget.

"Again, I grew up, and I don't see a reason why I should do such work any more?"

Abruptly, Mark spins around, caughting Leia off guard that she misses a step on the stairs.

"Ah!" She gasps for air as she closes her eyes.

The next thing she hears are chuckles as a warm hand rests upon her back.
