Finally relieved

Adolph felt a renewed sense of purpose as he resumed his responsibilities as the Alpha. The incident with the arrow had left him shaken, but he was grateful to be alive. A few days had passed since his recovery, and he was determined to express his gratitude to the two people who had cared for him during his illness—Scarlett and Louis.

As the evening sun cast its warm glow upon the palace, Adolph made his way to Scarlett's room. He couldn't help but notice her uneasiness as he entered. He wondered what could be causing it, and then a thought struck him—perhaps she believed he was there to discuss their interrupted first night together. Adolph decided to address her concerns head-on.

"Scarlett," he began gently, "I came here tonight not to rush anything or make you uncomfortable. I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for taking care of me when I was ill. You saved my life, and I am forever indebted to you."

Scarlett's eyes widened in surprise, her uneasiness giving way to a mixture o
