CHAPTER 7: The melancholy of us

JAXON POV:

I was furious after the incident that had happened with Rosalina. What a heartless person she is who without any hesitation she just accepted all her unforgivable sins. What is wrong with her?! She did not even bother apologizing and rather began rambling in a somewhat psychotic tone. But for some reason, the pain in her eyes was as vivid as the view of scenery before one’s eyes. After I revealed the truth rather than a shocked expression, her face was varnished with disappointment. I shrugged off the thought and continued my journey.
