"Lise, look at me? Are you okay?” Natie says,bringing me out of my trance. She gestures for me to follow her moves, "Breath in...breath out. Again, breath in, breath out." she continues until my heartbeat slowly returns to normal.

“Where is Nate?” Mira can't help but look at me in concern.

“Nate is at the pack house remember?” Natie said pulling me back to my feet. I hated to act this way in front of them. I was going to become Luna for goodness sake! How could I've allowed such a moment of weakness?

“I’m sorry, I thought I saw him just now. Maybe it my imagination.” I said faking a smile, Natie and Mira shared a look before nodding in agreement.
