Chapter 40

After dropping Lydia off at the school, Carson made his way to see a certain someone. He knew if he didn't, Lydia might get fired before she even resumed, and that would make her really sad and look down on herself again.

Since he had been spending time with the girl, he became open to her. He didn't like to see her cry or sad. It irritated him, so he planned to do whatever he could to make sure she didn't cry, especially because of a job again.

Carson made his way into the gigantic house, it's been a long time since he stepped foot into this house. He lets Gary come here as much as he likes, but not him. He stopped coming to the house when he had a very serious argument with his father, which has not been resolved to date.

“Mr. Carson” a lady bowed when she saw who had stepped into the house. The shock was evident in her voice as she said,

“Good afternoon sir”

“Hm, Good afternoon. Is my grandfather in?”

“Huh, yes sir. Yes sir” she repeated twice.

“Tell him I am here” he stated,
