Cindy sneered, "Are you sure? Don't you want to know why Max suddenly bought medication for Aaron Middleton? Or why he kept taking you on trips, trying to get you into bed?"

I immediately caught the mention of my father and asked, "What do you mean? Are you saying you instructed Max?"

The doctor says I have a bit of a delusional disorder. So, Jen, whatever I tell you today, you should take it with a grain of salt. It seemed Stephen and Taylor were right—talking to Cindy wouldn't yield anything valuable. The fact that she agreed to meet me meant she was fully prepared.
